The international conference "Peace, Sustainable Development and Migration" was held

On June 12, 2025, in the capital's «Yyldyz» Hotel was held the international conference "Peace, Sustainable Development and Migration". This major forum was attended by experts and specialists from Central Asian countries and the states of the region, members of the UN and its specialized structures, representatives of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan and the media. Experts and specialists from international organizations joined the forum via videoconference.

During the conference, delegations made presentations on the topics "Approaches that meet the requirements of the time: identification of individuals and regulation of documents", "Environmental challenges and their impact on migration", "Eradication of statelessness, their paths and legal solutions", "The future of migration: Innovations and digital solutions", "Regional cooperation: Peace and trust as the basis of migration policy" and discussed priority directions in these areas.

The regular holding of international forums in our country is a clear confirmation of the responsible approach of an independent, permanently neutral Fatherland to issues related to migration and the successful implementation of a humanitarian policy.
