TÜRKMENISTANYŇ DÖWLET, HUKUK WE DEMOKRATIÝA INSTITUTY
On September 15, 2022, a meeting with a delegation of the International Labor Organization was held at the Institute of State, Law and Democracy.
The agenda of the meeting included the issues related to the development of national legislation in the field of labor relations. Representatives of the Institute briefed on the implementation of the norms of 10 conventions ratified by Turkmenistan into the legislation of Turkmenistan. Information on the organization of labor relations in the modern period in institutions, enterprises, organizations, and the introduction of modern technologies and digital systems into the labor management process was provided also. Representatives of the International Organization shared their vision on the main directions of development of cooperation between the International Labor Organization and Turkmenistan.
In addition, during the meeting, it was noted that the National Action Plan on Human Rights in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 provides for measures aimed at development partnership with the International Labor Organization.
