TÜRKMENISTANYŇ DÖWLET, HUKUK WE DEMOKRATIÝA INSTITUTY
On April 25-26, 2022, representatives of the Institute took part in the regional consultations: "Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals: Integrating Human Rights Recommendations into Mechanisms for the Implementation of the SDGs in Central Asia" organized by the Regional Office of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR UN) for Central Asia and the UNDP Regional Office.
The event was attended by members of the Working Group of the Interdepartmental Commission on ensuring the implementation of international obligations of Turkmenistan in the field of human rights and international humanitarian law and members of the working group of Turkmenistan on the SDGs, representatives of state bodies and public organizations of Central Asian countries, international experts.
The purpose of the event is to create a platform for the exchange of experience in linking the recommendations in the field of human rights with the SDGs and the practice of their implementation in national processes of monitoring, implementation and control on the way to achieving the SDGs.
