PARTICIPATED IN A ROUND TABLE ON JUVENILE JUSTICE

On 17 March 2022, representatives of the Institute participated in a round table on juvenile justice organized by the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Turkmenistan.

The round table was also attended by representatives of the Milli Majlis, Supreme Court, General Prosecutor's Office, Ministries of Interior, Adalat, Education, Labor and Social Protection, Ombudsman Office of Turkmenistan.

The purpose of the event was to review and analyze Turkmenistan's legislation related to juvenile justice and the protection of children's rights.
