HUMAN RIGHTS WORKSHOP

On October 18-20, 2022, in the framework of the project “Assistance in the Implementation of the National Action Plan of Turkmenistan in the Area of Human Rights for 2021-2025” jointly implemented with the Institute of State, Law, and Democracy of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Turkmenistan, a methodological workshop on the development of educational programs in the field of human rights was held.
The workshop gathered representatives of the ministries of Adalat, Education, Internal Affairs, the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the National Institute of Education, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, teachers of higher educational institutions, the Ashgabat Advocate Association and UNDP international expert Aygul Kulnazarova.
During the seminar, the participants studied and analyzed international experience in the development of educational programs in the field of human rights and discussed recommendations for the implementation of this experience in educational programs.
