SEMINAR ON MEDIA LITERACY

On October 4-5, 2022, an online seminar was held as part of the implementation of the National Action Plan of Turkmenistan in the field of human rights for 2021-2025 on media literacy. The event, organized by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, the country's media, international and national experts.

In the seminar with international and national experts, the participants discussed the features of the formation of media literacy, its key elements, considered media literacy projects and infrastructure for its development.

Also in the seminar, a separate session was devoted to media literacy in Turkmenistan and the tasks assigned to it.
