THE NEXT ISSUE OF THE “DEMOCRACY AND LAW” JOURNAL

The speech by the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Dovlet Maslakhaty, held on September 23 in Ashgabat, dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan opens the issue of the journal that published in Turkmen, English and Russian.

In his speech, the head of state determined a set of tasks aimed at consistently strengthening the democratic, legal and secular foundations of the Motherland, increasing its international prestige, as well as considered the priorities of our domestic and foreign policy.

As the President of Turkmenistan noted, progress is the main goal of the state strategy, guided by which socio-political and socio-economic transformations are successfully carried out, regardless of the global political, economic and financial conjuncture.

This is evidenced by the long-term and medium-term plans, including the consistent implementation of large-scale reform programs that cover all spheres of the life of state and society.

The article “National and International Legal Aspects of the Development of Renewable Energy Sources in Turkmenistan” calls attention of readers to the key objectives of the foreign policy of the Motherland are the organization of economic and industrial activities at the national level through the establishment of international cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources and the study of world-wide best practices.

In this context, the role of the United Nations, the Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) on introduction of renewable energy sources into production, as well as the development of bilateral relations on “green energy” issues, which is of special importance within the framework of interstate dialogue, is emphasized.

The next issue of the “Democracy and Law” journal offers a number of releases on legal topics.

In the publication “Legal Culture: The Importance of Clarifying National Legislation in Raising Public Awareness”, the significance of forming legal consciousness and raising legal knowledge of a person is considered.

“As perfect the spiritual and moral views and legal culture of a person, as high the quality of person’s legal knowledge and their competent application, as well as the level of respect for the law, readiness to implement legal norms,” the release reads.

The article “The Role of Ethics for the Crime Prevention” is devoted to the measures being taken to comply with the laws, which touches upon organizational and educational work to strengthen discipline in the workplace and at home, as well as socio-economic and ideological issues.

Another article “Professional Ethics of a Lawyer” would also attract the attention of readers. It reads the legal ethics that requires adherence to the law while protecting the interests of people, conscientiousness and adherence to principle in the context of the equality of every citizen before the law guaranteed by the state.

The release focuses on the nature of advocacy, the need for active participation in activities aimed at prevention of offenses.

The next publication “The Significance of Legal Regulations of Maritime Transport” considers this area as a link in the economic-organizational and organizational-legal plan of the national economic infrastructure with the international transport system.
