TÜRKMENISTANYŇ DÖWLET, HUKUK WE DEMOKRATIÝA INSTITUTY
On March 12, 2024, in Ashgabat, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan and the Representative Office of the United Nations Population Fund in Turkmenistan held meetings for young couples on building harmonious family relations. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Adalat and Civil Registry Office, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, representatives of the velayat and city councils of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization.
The meeting was organized within the framework of the Work Plan “Promotion of strengthening systems and mechanisms for achieving gender equality” between the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Population Fund for 2024-2025.
The main purpose of the event is to raise awareness of young couples about family values. Earlier, another meeting on same topic was held on March 5 in Mary velayat and is scheduled to be held on March 28 in Lebap velayat.
