TÜRKMENISTANYŇ DÖWLET, HUKUK WE DEMOKRATIÝA INSTITUTY
From Jule 24 to August 4, 2023, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, together with the United Nations Population Fund and the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, held a series of round tables in the Ashgabat and the velayats to monitor the implementation of the National Action Plan on Gender Equality in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025.
The round tables were organized within the framework of the Activity Plan "Support for strengthening the System and Mechanisms to Promote Gender Equality" between the Institute and the UNFPA for 2023 and the project plan between the Government of Turkmenistan with the OSCE Center in Ashgabat. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, a number of ministries, departments and hyakimliks and public organizations of the country.
The main purpose of the round tables were to conduct a mid-term assessment of the implementation of the National Action Plan for Gender Equality in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025.
