TÜRKMENISTANYŇ DÖWLET, HUKUK WE DEMOKRATIÝA INSTITUTY
On December 13, 2024 in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in the hybrid format, a meeting of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Framework Program of Cooperation in the field of sustainable development between Turkmenistan and the UN for 2021 - 2025 was held.
The meeting was attended by heads and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of a number of ministries and departments of the country, the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of UN structural divisions.
The participants of the meeting noted that the Framework Program of Cooperation in the field of sustainable development is one of the basic documents that defines the development of Turkmenistan's partnership with the UN and its agencies on a systematic basis, and is also based on medium and long-term programs and plans for joint activities.
The meeting reviewed the UN recommendations for the final evaluation of the implementation of the Framework for the period 2021-2025, the work done by each of the five Groups on the implementation of the document; and the work on the development of the next cycle of the Framework for 2026-2030.
