The President of Turkmenistan signed a document on the number of candidates for postgraduate studies and academic degrees and clinical residency in 2026.
The issues of postgraduate studies and academic degrees and clinical residencies in 2026 were considered. The work carried out in this area was noted in the report of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Orazdurdyyeva at on January 16th of this year digital government session. As noted, within the framework of the work on the implementation of the adopted programs in the fields of science, education, and healthcare, relevant work was carried out together with the relevant ministries and departmental authorities of the country to develop a new generation of young scientists, train engineers, technologists, doctors and other specialists who are proficient in innovative technologies. As a result of this work, a plan was prepared on the number of candidates for postgraduate studies and academic degrees and clinical residency in scientific research institutions and higher educational institutions in 2026, which will be held under the motto "Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan - the Homeland of the Purposeful Winged Horses". In this regard, the deputy prime minister submitted a proposal for consideration by the Head of State.
Commenting on the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the scientific sector in the country is being continuously improved, great importance is attached to the training of scientists and high-level specialists, and in this regard, he signed a document on admission to postgraduate and academic degrees, as well as clinical residency in 2026. He also instructed the deputy prime minister to carry out relevant work in this area.
The main indicators of the country's socio-economic development include the introduction of scientific achievements and innovative technologies. This can be seen in the list of admissions to doctoral, postgraduate and candidacy programs in 2026, published in the press today.
In accordance with the Charter of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, the main task is to carry out scientific research on modern issues of jurisprudence. The results of scientific research conducted at the Institute are published in books, scientific journals and other periodicals.
