To further ensure the child rights and their well-being in the period of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, which are one of the priorities of state policy, creating conditions aimed at protecting and systematically improving the child rights in the socio-political, socio-economic, national and cultural spheres, the social and living conditions of the rising generation, improving the quality of education and preparation of children for life, the educational work carried out with them, the practical realization of their rights and increasing opportunities for the use of these rights, as well as confirmation of the commitment of Turkmenistan to its international obligations in the field of ensuring the child rights, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution.
According to the document, the “National Action Plan on Child Rights Realization in Turkmenistan for 2023-2028” was approved and the ministries and sectoral departments, local executive authorities and public organizations of Turkmenistan were ordered to ensure the implementation of the measures provided for in the Plan.
The Inter-Ministerial Commission on Ensuring Turkmenistan’s Compliance with International Obligations on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law has been given mandate to coordinate the successful implementation of the measures provided for in the National Action Plan on Child Rights Realization in Turkmenistan for 2023-2028, and the implementation of international obligations in the field of human rights.
