TÜRKMENISTANYŇ DÖWLET, HUKUK WE DEMOKRATIÝA INSTITUTY
In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, thanks to the efforts of the Esteemed President, consecutive work is being carried out to improve national legislation. To increase public awareness about the significance of the ongoing constitutional reforms and the status of permanent neutrality of the state, as well as the triumph of freedoms and rights of citizens reflected in the laws in force in the country, the National Trade Union Center of Turkmenistan, with the support of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, jointly with the magazine “Democracy and Law” announces a Scientific-and-practical Articles Competition “Creative activity and human rights”.
Articles submission guidelines for the competition:
1. A scientific-and-practical article may be submitted in one of the following languages: Turkmen, English, or Russian.
2. The contestant can submit only one article, and the article cannot have more than two authors.
3. The article should not exceed 5 (five) pages in A4 format (210×297 mm) and should include following:
- Name, surname (in full) of the author (authors) and position, Right Aligned Text, 14 pt font;
- Title of the article must be in 16 pt bold capital letters and be centered;
- A one-line space must be before typing the text of the article;
- All the main text of the article should be in 14 pt regular font and justified. The line spacing to be single spaced (one line high)
- Page layout: top and bottom margin - 2.0 cm, left side indent - 3 cm, right side indent - 1.5 cm;
- Each reference number should be enclosed in square brackets on the same line as the text, for example: [1], [2], [3-5], etc. The list of references appears briefly at the end of the paper with the heading, REFERENCES.
4. The text of the article should be in Times New Roman, as a one-file text.
5. The article should be submitted in Microsoft Word format only (with DOC and DOCX file extensions).
6. After the acceptance of the article, corrections and additions proposed by the author are not accepted.
7. The article is not returned to the author after acceptance.
8. The article must be reviewed at the place of work (study) and accompanied by a letter signed by the head of the organization/institution.
9. The contest is open from the date of its publication in the open sources and continues until October 31, 2024.
10. The jury comprised from representatives of the National Trade Union Center of Turkmenistan, scientists and political scientists will evaluate the articles and choose winners.
The terms for summing up the results of the competition
The results of the competition will be summed up and announced in December 2023 on the eve of the holidays – International Neutrality Day and International Human Rights Day. The winners of the competition – 1stplace (1), 2nd place (2) and 3rd place (2) – will be awarded Certificates of Honor and gifts from the National Trade Union Center of Turkmenistan and the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan.
Articles are accepted until October 31, 2024.
