A meeting was held with the Special Representative of the European Union for Human Rights

On June 24, 2024, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Special Representative of the European Union for Human Rights Olof Skoog.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union noted the interest of the parties in its multifaceted development, including on issues of the rule of law and human rights.

The EU representative was familiarized with the activities carried out at the Institute for the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights and Freedoms.

The parties noted that the Dialogue on Human Rights, the next meeting to be held in Ashgabat on June 25, 2024, will be of particular importance in the development of good relations.
