TÜRKMENISTANYŇ DÖWLET, HUKUK WE DEMOKRATIÝA INSTITUTY
On June 12, 2024, on the occasion of Science Day, the international scientific conference "Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of the Powerful State" was held at the Oguzhan University of Engineering and Technology. Along with scientists, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of our country, foreign scientists took part in the forum. This conference, aimed at key areas of science, has become another important step in the exchange of mutual experience and strengthening cooperation.
On the same day, according to the established annual tradition, a ceremony honoring the winners of the contest of scientific competition among youth was held that was jointly organized by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization in honor of the Science Day. The talented young scientists of the country, specialists of research institutes, industry departments, industrial associations, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as young people of various professions who are aspiring to master the sciences took part.
The current scientific competition has gathered 1,670 scientists and students, out of which 107 scientific papers were selected by the expert commission. The papers on development and theoretical research covered six areas of science and technology: “Nanotechnologies, chemical technologies, new materials research and energy”, “Biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics”, “Information and Communication systems, computer technologies”, “Modern medicine and technologies for the production of medicines”, “Innovative Economy”, and “Humanities”.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the winners of the scientific competition were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts. Suleyman Orazmuhammedovich Gurbanyazov, a researcher at the Department of Democracy and International Relations of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, is among the winners who were awarded the second place.
The young scientists who became winners expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed President and Hero Arkadag for creating great opportunities for science.
