An advocacy and instruction meeting titled “Döwletlilik däpleri we hukuk medeniýeti: Nesilleriň dowamatlylygy”

On May 12, 2026, an advocacy and instruction meeting titled “Döwletlilik däpleri we hukuk medeniýeti: Nesilleriň dowamatlylygy” was held at the Balkanabat oil secondary professional school. This event was organized jointly by the Institute of State, law and democracy of Turkmenistan, the National Red Crescent society of Turkmenistan, and the Central council of the Magtymguly Youth organization of Turkmenistan , in accordance with the Work plan for 2026 of the interdepartmental commission on ensuring the implementation of international obligations of Turkmenistan in the field of human rights and international humanitarian law.

This series of events initially started in the city Ashgabat. According to the Plan, the first conference titled “Kämil hukuk ulgamy – durnukly ösüşiň we bagtyýarlygyň binýady” was held at the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan in April.

During the event, representatives of various institutions and organizations of our country made speeches. The speakers noted that ensuring human rights and freedoms is a priority direction of state policy in our country, and international norms are being integrated into national legislation in this field. Currently, Turkmenistan’s accession to international human rights conventions and the implementation of relevant measures within national programs are clear evidence of democratic developments. According to the Constitution of Turkmenistan, supporting and protecting the human being, who is the highest value of the society and the state, is the main task of the state authorities. It was emphasized that the permanent Neutrality legal status of our country plays an important role in ensuring human rights and promoting peace in the world.

These events will continue in other regions of our country in the future: they will be held in Dashoguz region in September, in Lebap region in October, and will conclude in Mary region in November. The meetings held contribute to increasing the legal literacy of young people, ensuring they receive modern education and take a worthy place in society.
